Aranea boots are a drop from araxytes, the spider minions found in Araxxor's lair. Both araxyte variants share the same drop table, but the rate depends on which you kill and whether you're on a relevant Slayer task.
- Level 96 araxyte: 1/4,000, improving to 1/1,600 while on a spider or araxyte Slayer task.
- Level 146 araxyte: 1/2,000, improving to 1/800 while on a spider or araxyte Slayer task.

More importantly, they negate certain spider-based special attacks once every 8 ticks (4.8 seconds) from arachnid bosses. The bosses whose attacks they can negate include Sarachnis' sticky web, Venenatis and Spindel's draining webs, Verzik Vitur's snapping webs in phase 3, and Araxxor's ranged auto-attack. Araxxor's venom cleave is negated on a slower 6-attack (12-second) cooldown, and his magic auto-attack is not negated.
