Gear Table
Gear Table — FAQ
What is the OSRS Gear Table?
Gear Table is a complete, sortable list of every equippable item in Old School Runescape. Every weapon, every piece of armour, every cape — with all combat stats in one view. Sort by any column, filter by slot or attack style, and find what you need without bouncing between wiki pages.
How is Gear Table different from the BiS Calculator?
The BiS Calculator picks the single best item for each slot given your filters. Gear Table shows you everything — including mid-tier and lower-tier alternatives.
Use Gear Table when you want to:
- Browse alternatives at a specific price point
- See stat trade-offs across an entire slot
- Find F2P or Ironman-friendly options
- Research ranking patterns (e.g. "what's the best 100M-budget magic helm?")
Can I filter the Gear Table?
Yes — use the filter controls at the top:
- Slot filter — head, body, legs, weapon, etc.
- Attack style — Stab/Slash/Crush/Ranged/Magic
- F2P only — hides P2P items
- Members, 3rd Age, Variations — same toggles as the BiS Calculator
You can also sort any column ascending/descending by clicking its header. Combine filters and sorts to drill into exactly the subset you care about.
Where does the item data come from?
Item stats are sourced from the OSRS game database via the OSRSBox API and refreshed regularly. The dataset reflects the current state of the game, including Project Rebalance stat changes and any new items added in recent updates.
If a brand-new item from a recent update isn't showing up yet, give it a couple of weeks for the data to sync. Or let us know and we'll prioritize it.
Why is item X missing from the table?
A few possibilities:
- It's a quest reward or drop-only with no equipment slot — the table only shows equippable gear.
- It was added in a very recent update — our dataset refreshes periodically, so brand-new items can take a couple of weeks to land.
- It's a Hide Variations match — try toggling that filter off.
- It's degraded or special-state-only (e.g. Crystal armour at 0% charge) — we usually show the active form.
Still missing? Tell us.
Can I export the Gear Table?
Not directly through the UI, but you can copy filtered rows by selecting them and pasting into a spreadsheet — the column structure preserves cleanly. We're considering a CSV/JSON export feature; if that's useful to you, let us know and we'll prioritize it.
