The Twisted bow (often shortened to “Tbow”) is a two-handed Ranged weapon and one of the most powerful ranged weapons in Old School RuneScape. It requires 85 Ranged, and its accuracy and damage scale with the target's Magic level — so it gets stronger the more magical the enemy. Against a high-Magic, high-HP boss it's best-in-slot; against a low-Magic target a far cheaper bow does the job. It's a rare reward from the Chambers of Xeric raid and trades on the Grand Exchange for around 1.5 billion coins.

How the Twisted bow scales with Magic
The Twisted bow doesn't deal fixed damage. It reads the target's Magic level — or its magic accuracy, whichever is higher — and turns that into bonus accuracy and bonus damage, so the more magical the target, the harder it hits. Against something with no Magic, like a spider, you get a fraction of its power; against a high-Magic boss it's near the top. Accuracy caps at +140% and damage at +250%, and the Magic it reads is itself capped at 250 (350 inside the Chambers of Xeric) — a hard ceiling no target goes past.
The chart below is the real formula plotted across target Magic 0–250. Notice the damage line keeps climbing past the point where accuracy has already maxed out — that is why the Twisted bow rewards the very highest-Magic bosses the most.

Twisted bow max hit
Because the Twisted bow's damage scales with the target's Magic, its max hit climbs with the enemy. With max ranged gear, Rigour and dragon arrows against a high-Magic boss it tops out around 86–92, and as high as 106 inside the Chambers of Xeric — far lower against low-Magic targets. The Twisted bow is a rare unique drop from the Chambers of Xeric raid — there is no other in-game source. The drop chance is roughly 1/2,000 at 15,000 raid points, improving to about 1/1,200 at 25,000, and it keeps climbing the more points you score — reaching about 1/1,000 near 30,000 points.

Because that grind can take a very long time, most players simply buy the Twisted bow from the Grand Exchange rather than chasing the drop themselves. With a buy limit of 8 every 4 hours and a price near 1.5 billion, it's one of the most valuable items a Ranged account can own.
