The ring of the gods is a Wilderness-boss ring that trades pure defence for the slot's signature +4 Prayer bonus, the joint-highest prayer bonus on a ring alongside the ring of suffering (i). It has no level requirement and adds a flat +1 to every defence type. It drops from Vet'ion (1/512) and Calvar'ion (1/716), and can be imbued for a prayer-restoration passive plus a further +4 Prayer. It trades on the Grand Exchange for roughly 900K–1M.
Equipment bonuses
The ring of the gods is built around a single defining stat: its +4 Prayer bonus, the highest you can get from a ring (tied with the ring of suffering (i)). Defensively it adds a uniform +1 to stab, slash, crush, magic and ranged defence.

Other bonuses
With no level requirement and offering zero offensive bonuses, it is purely a Prayer-uptime ring for content where Smite, overheads or long prayer-draining trips matter.

How to get the ring of the gods
The ring of the gods is a Wilderness boss drop and cannot be bought from a shop or made. Two bosses drop it:
- Vet'ion — at a rate of 1/512.
- Calvar'ion (the singles-plus variant of Vet'ion) — at a rate of 1/716.
If you would rather skip the Wilderness grind, the easiest route is buying it off the Grand Exchange for roughly 900K–1M gold, since it is fully tradeable. You can plan the rest of your prayer gear setup around it, or check what else these bosses drop via the boss gear finder.
Is the ring of the gods worth it?
For any content where you need to keep Prayer up — Smiting in PvP, holding an overhead at a boss, or long slayer trips — the ring of the gods is one of the best ring choices because of its +4 Prayer. That is the joint-highest prayer bonus on a ring, level with the ring of suffering (i), which also adds recoil and defensive stats.
The big upgrade is the imbued version, ring of the gods (i). Imbuing (650,000 Nightmare Zone points, or 325,000 with the hard Combat Achievements tier; 260 Soul Wars Zeal Tokens; or a scroll of imbuing from Emir's Arena) bumps the Prayer bonus to +8 and adds a built-in holy wrench passive that restores extra Prayer points from prayer and super restore potions — but only while the ring is worn. You also need a holy wrench in your inventory to imbue (it is not consumed).
If you do not care about Prayer bonus, a stat ring like the ring of suffering (i) or a damage ring will serve a pure-DPS setup better, since the ring of the gods has no offensive bonuses at all. See more options in prayer gear.

How do you get the ring of the gods?
It is a drop from two Wilderness bosses: Vet'ion (1/512) and Calvar'ion (1/716). It is also tradeable, so you can buy it on the Grand Exchange for around 900K–1M gold.
What level do you need to wear the ring of the gods?
No level requirement. Any account can equip it, and it adds +1 to every defence type along with the +4 Prayer bonus.
What does imbuing the ring of the gods do?
The ring of the gods (i) raises the Prayer bonus from +4 to +8 and adds the holy wrench effect — extra Prayer restored when you drink prayer or super restore potions, but only while the ring is equipped. It does not stack with a worn prayer cape or a holy wrench in your inventory.
How much is the ring of the gods worth?
It trades on the Grand Exchange for roughly 900K–1M gold. Its alchemy values are 30K (high) and 20K (low). Check the live price tracker above for the current figure.
Is the ring of the gods good for PKing?
Yes — its +4 Prayer bonus (or +8 imbued) is valuable for Smiting and holding overheads in the Wilderness, since the extra prayer points let you keep protection prayers and Smite running longer. It has no offensive stats, so it is chosen for prayer uptime, not damage.
