The Burning claws are a two-handed demonbane melee weapon that requires 60 Attack to wield and attacks at a fast 4-tick (2.4s) speed. They carry a multi-hit special attack and a +5% accuracy and damage boost against demonic creatures, sitting in power between the dragon dagger and dragon claws. You make them by combining two burning claws — rare drops from Tormented Demons — so there is no direct drop; the assembled weapon trades on the Grand Exchange for roughly 4.4M coins.
Equipment bonuses
The burning claws lean offensive, offering +54 slash and +43 stab accuracy alongside +32 melee strength, with their crush option left at 0. Their 4-tick (2.4-second) attack speed and the Claw combat style let them stack hits quickly.

Other bonuses
With only 60 Attack required and no Strength or Defence requirement, the claws are accessible mid-game, but their real edge is the demonbane bonus and the Burning barrage special rather than raw stat totals.

How to get the Burning claws
The Burning claws are not a direct drop. You create them by using 2 burning claws on each other — a 4-tick process that yields the finished two-handed weapon.
The single burning claw component is a rare drop from Tormented Demons, at a rate of 499/250,000 (roughly 1 in 501) per kill. Because you need two of them, expect to farm a fair number of Tormented Demon kills — or simply buy the assembled claws on the Grand Exchange, where they trade for around 4.4M coins. If you would rather check the live market first, the GE price tracker shows the current cost.
Special attack: Burning barrage
The burning claws' special attack, Burning barrage, drains 30% of your special attack energy and hits the target three times in succession, rolling against the opponent's slash or stab defence depending on the combat style you are using.
Each of the three hits can also inflict a burn, dealing a total of 10 damage over 40 ticks (24 seconds). Burns stack up to a cap of five active burns, and a single spec can apply 0, 10, 19, 20, or 29 burn damage. The chance to burn scales with which accuracy roll lands first: 15% if the first roll succeeds, 30% if the second succeeds, and 45% if the third succeeds. Like the dragon claws, the damage is split across the hitsplats, so even a partial-accuracy roll usually lands something.
Are the Burning claws worth it?
The burning claws sit in power between the dragon dagger and dragon claws as a special-attack weapon, while being more effective against demons thanks to their demonbane +5% accuracy and damage. That makes them a strong, relatively affordable spec weapon for demon-heavy content — including Tormented Demons themselves — where the burn and demonbane bonus add up.
For pure burst against general (non-demon) targets, the dragon claws still out-spec them, and they do not replace a fast main-hand like the abyssal whip or dragon scimitar for sustained damage. If you are weighing where they fit in a setup, the melee gear guide and boss gear finder help you slot them in.
