What's the fastest way to train Fishing in OSRS?
Fishing is one of the slower gathering skills, so 'fastest' is relative. Barbarian fishing is popular because it trains Strength and Agility alongside Fishing, while harpooning sharks and catching anglerfish are the steady high-level methods.
Can you AFK Fishing?
Yes — cage-fishing lobsters, harpooning sharks and fishing monkfish are all near-AFK, since you just click a fishing spot and wait. It's one of the most relaxed skills to train while doing something else.
Is Fishing good for ironmen?
Very — it's a core ironman skill because it supplies your own food (lobsters, sharks, anglerfish) for combat and bossing. Barbarian fishing is especially valued since it doubles as Strength and Agility training.
