Hunter is a varied skill that swings from very AFK to very click-intensive. Birdhouse runs are the classic passive method — set traps, leave, return later — while the fast XP is box-trapping chinchompas with tick manipulation, with black chinchompas at the top. What's the fastest way to train Hunter in OSRS?
Box-trapping chinchompas — black chinchompas at high level — with tick manipulation is the fastest Hunter XP at around 250k XP/hr. It's click-intensive, but you keep the chins, which are valuable Ranged ammo, so it doubles as a money-maker.
What is the most AFK way to train Hunter?
Birdhouse runs are the most passive Hunter method — you place birdhouses on Fossil Island, go do other things for around 50 minutes, then collect and reset them. The XP is low per hour but it costs almost no attention.
Is Hunter good for ironmen?
Yes — it supplies your own chinchompas for fast Ranged training and gives access to useful gear and resources. The mix of AFK birdhouse runs and active chin hunting makes it flexible to fit around other ironman goals.
