The Zamorak godsword is a two-handed melee weapon with the same stats as every other godsword, and a special attack that freezes the target for 19.2 seconds. It needs 75 Attack. You pick it over the Bandos godsword or Saradomin godsword for that freeze, not for extra damage.
Equipment bonuses
The bonus table shows +132 slash, +80 crush and +132 strength, plus +8 prayer. There are no defence, ranged or magic bonuses. It swings every 6 ticks (3.6s), so each hit counts.
Requires 75 Attack to wield · two-handed · attack speed 6t / 3.6s · attack range 1 · members. The special attack, Ice Cleave, is what sets it apart from other godswords.

How to get the Zamorak godsword
The Zamorak godsword is built from two parts, and it is also tradeable.
You need 75 Attack to wield it, like every godsword. A Zamorak godsword ornament kit from a master clue scroll gives a cosmetic-only version, the Zamorak godsword (or). That version cannot be traded.
The Zamorak godsword's special attack
Ice Cleave costs 50% of your special-attack energy. It doubles your accuracy, raises your max hit by 10%, and rolls against the target's slash defence.
The part that makes it unique is the freeze: on a successful hit, the target is held in place for 19.2 seconds (32 ticks), the same length as Ice Barrage. If the hit misses, there is no freeze. Protect from Melee cuts the damage by 40% but does not stop the freeze.
Compared with the other godswords, it adds no healing or stat drain, and only a small max hit boost. The freeze is the whole point. Niche uses include freezing flag carriers in Castle Wars, pinning targets in the Wilderness, holding Muttadiles back from healing off the meat tree, and freezing the Barrows brothers, Dharok in particular.
Zamorak godsword vs the other godswords
All godswords share the same bonus table: +132 slash, +80 crush, +132 strength, +8 prayer, two-handed, 6 ticks per swing. So the choice between them is the special attack, not the stats.
- Bandos godsword — the special drains the target's combat stats. Defence is drained first.
- Saradomin godsword — the special restores Hitpoints and Prayer.
- Ancient godsword — the special marks the target for sacrifice damage and a heal.
- Zamorak godsword — the special freezes the target.
Its normal hits match the others, so buy it for the freeze, not for the numbers. Compare setups in the DPS calculator.
