Bryophyta's essence has exactly one source: the Chest (Bryophyta's lair). The chest drops the essence at a rate of 1/118, and that rate is the same whether the chest is opened on a members world or a free-to-play world. Killing Bryophyta is required to open the chest each time you loot it.
