The Voidwaker gem is one of the three parts of the Voidwaker, not a weapon you can wield. It drops from Venenatis and Spindel, and you need it together with the hilt and the blade to have the weapon rebuilt. This page is about the gem alone: where it comes from and what it becomes. The finished sword has its own page at Voidwaker.

How to get the Voidwaker gem
The gem is a rare drop from two Wilderness bosses, and it can also be bought.
The gem is paired with a hilt (Callisto or Artio) and a blade (Vet'ion or Calvar'ion). Each part has the same 1/360 and 1/912 split, so a full set is three separate boss drops.
Turning the pieces into a Voidwaker
Bring the gem, the hilt and the blade to Madam Sikaro in the Ferox Enclave Dungeon. She charges 500,000 coins to put them together.
What you get is a melee sword needing 75 Attack, with a 4-tick swing, +70 stab, +80 slash and +80 strength. Its special attack, Disrupt, uses 50% special energy and always hits with Magic damage of 50% to 150% of your maximum melee hit.
Gem or finished Voidwaker?
Buy the gem if you already hold the hilt and blade, or if you are farming the other two pieces and want to finish the set. If you hold none of the three, the cleanest comparison is the sum of the three part prices plus the 500,000 coin fee against the finished sword's price.
Do not buy the gem on its own as an upgrade, because it does nothing until it is combined. If your goal is a good melee weapon rather than the Voidwaker itself, see melee gear.
