What the Enhanced crystal teleport seed makes
The seed has one job: it is sung into an eternal teleport crystal, a crystal that teleports you to Lletya and Prifddinas with unlimited charges. The eternal crystal works like a teleport crystal, but it does not run out of teleports.
What you need to make it
1 enhanced crystal teleport seed and 100 crystal shards, used at a singing bowl.
80 Smithing and 80 Crafting. These can be boosted, and you earn 5,000 XP in each.
No levels? Conwenna or Reese will sing it for you for an extra 50 shards (150 in total). You get no XP that way.
You cannot get the finished crystal before you complete Song of the Elves.
How to get the Enhanced crystal teleport seed
You can get the seed by pickpocketing elves in Prifddinas or as a drop from Prifddinas guards and Iorwerth Warriors, and it is tradeable.
Ways to obtain it
Pickpocketing elves in Prifddinas (85 Thieving) — 1/1,024. Guards in Prifddinas and Iorwerth Warriors in the Iorwerth Dungeon — 1/1,024 each as a drop.
Grand Exchange — buy limit 100 every 4 hours.
If you wear parts of the rogue equipment its effect applies to this drop: you have a chance of getting two seeds, and the full set guarantees it. You can also trade the seed to Amrod in the Hefin Inn in Prifddinas for 150 crystal shards. The seed must be unnoted.
Is the Enhanced crystal teleport seed worth it?
The finished crystal never runs out of teleports, which is its whole value. If you teleport to Prifddinas or Lletya often, it is convenient. If you only go there occasionally, the shards you spend and the seed price probably are not worth it.
Compare the options before you sing it. The seed can be exchanged for 150 crystal shards, so the shards you would spend (100) are not the only cost: the seed itself sells on the Grand Exchange, and you give up its shard value by using it.
