The enhanced crystal weapon seed is an upgraded form of the crystal weapon seed, dropped from the Gauntlet's reward chest — 1/2,000 from the regular Gauntlet or 1/400 from the Corrupted Gauntlet. At level 82 Smithing and 82 Crafting (boostable), it's sung into a Blade of Saeldor or Bow of Faerdhinen at a singing bowl. How to get the enhanced crystal weapon seed

The enhanced crystal weapon seed drops from the Gauntlet's reward chest. The regular Gauntlet reward chest drops it at 1/2,000, while the Corrupted Gauntlet reward chest drops it far more often, at 1/400.

It can also be obtained by reverting an inactive Blade of Saeldor or Bow of Faerdhinen back into the seed at a singing bowl. Reverting costs 250 crystal shards plus 82 Smithing and 82 Crafting; players who don't meet those levels can instead have Conwenna or Reese perform the reversion for an extra 125 shards, for a total of 375 shards. There's no confirmation screen on the reversion menu, so it's easy to trigger by accident.

Creating crystal weapons from the seed

At level 82 Smithing and 82 Crafting (both boostable), the enhanced crystal weapon seed is sung into either a Blade of Saeldor or a Bow of Faerdhinen at a singing bowl, granting 5,000 Smithing and 5,000 Crafting experience. Making the base, uncharged weapon costs 100 crystal shards on top of the seed; going through the full process to walk away with a charged Blade of Saeldor (c) costs 1,000 crystal shards, and a charged Bow of Faerdhinen (c) costs 2,000 crystal shards.

Players who don't meet the Smithing and Crafting requirements can have Conwenna or Reese sing the seed for them instead, for an extra 50 crystal shards, for a total of 150 shards.

What else can you do with it?

The enhanced crystal weapon seed is a tradeable Grand Exchange item and is tracked in the collection log. Rather than crafting a weapon with it, it can also be exchanged directly for 1,500 crystal shards by speaking to Amrod in Prifddinas' Hefin Inn — useful for players who just want the shards rather than a new melee or ranged weapon.
