On any kill there's a 1/585 chance of hitting the sigil drop table, and if that table is hit, a 1/7 chance the roll is an elysian sigil rather than an arcane or spectral one (each 3/7 instead). That works out to an effective rate of 1/4095 — the rarest of the three sigils.
Ironmen with a combat level of 90 or higher fight the Corporeal Beast in their own separate instance, so the boss and its sigil table stay fully accessible on Ironman accounts.
Attaching the sigil to make an elysian spirit shield
An elysian sigil is only a means to an end — it can't be worn on its own. Combining it with a blessed spirit shield using a hammer at an anvil requires 90 Prayer (which can't be boosted) and 85 Smithing (which can). Both the shield and the sigil are consumed in the process.
