How to get the imbued heart

The imbued heart drops from superior slayer monsters — rare, buffed versions of normal Slayer targets that only appear after buying the Bigger and Badder unlock for 50 Slayer reward points from any Slayer master. The chance of a superior monster dropping the heart depends on that monster's own Slayer level requirement, per the wiki's formula: 1 / (8 × (200 − ⌊(Slayer req + 55)² / 125⌋)).

The heart is tracked in the collection log. Once obtained it's tradeable on the Grand Exchange, with a buy limit of 8 every 4 hours.

How the imbued heart's Magic boost works

Using the Invigorate option raises the player's Magic level by 1 + 10% of their current level, rounded down — for example a 90-99 Magic account gets a +10 boost, per the wiki's tier table. It can be activated an unlimited number of times, but only once every seven minutes per player, no matter how many hearts are owned; using it while on cooldown shows a chatbox message telling you how many minutes remain.

The cooldown resets whenever the player dies, even inside safe minigames such as Castle Wars. The fastest way to reset it early is walking back and forth through the Clan Wars free-for-all (white) portal, or drinking from the Pool of Refreshment in Ferox Enclave — though the pool also strips any currently boosted levels. The heart cannot be brought into legacy Emir's Arena duels that have the "no potions" option turned on.

Upgrading the imbued heart into a saturated heart

Feeding an imbued heart 150,000 ancient essence upgrades it into a saturated heart. The upgrade adds +3 to the Magic boost, stops the boost from gradually draining the way divine potions do, and cuts the reactivation cooldown from seven minutes down to five. The conversion is non-reversible.
