The log basket is a Forestry storage item that holds a combined 28 logs of any type. Worn in the cape slot, it automatically pockets logs as you chop — effectively doubling how long you can cut trees before banking. It's bought from the Forestry Shop with Woodcutting rewards.
Equipment bonuses
Worn in the cape slot · no combat bonuses · stores 28 logs · untradeable.
What the log basket does
With the basket set to 'Open', logs you chop go straight into it instead of your inventory, so you can gather up to 28 extra logs before a bank trip. You can check or empty it anywhere (except a few minigame areas), and 'Empty containers' in the bank UI deposits worn baskets directly. It does not store fungi, bruma roots, charcoal or pyre logs. Combine it with a sturdy harness and a Forestry kit to make a wearable Forestry basket. It's also handy for plank-making and some Hunter and minigame setups.
How to get the log basket
Buy the log basket from the Forestry Shop for 5,000 anima-infused bark, 300 noted oak logs and 300 noted willow logs — all earned through Woodcutting and Forestry events. You can sell it back for an 80% refund (Ultimate Ironmen excepted).
