OSRS Attack Calculator
Attack has no dedicated training method — you level it by fighting with the Accurate (or Controlled) attack style, so it climbs alongside Strength, Defence and Hitpoints. The fast path is the same as any melee skill: Sand Crabs early, Nightmare Zone once you've unlocked a few quest bosses, then high-level Slayer and PvM. This page tells you how long an Attack goal takes at a given combat pace.

Attack calculator — FAQ
What's the fastest way to train Attack in OSRS?
There's no separate Attack method — you train it through combat on the Accurate style. The quickest XP comes from Nightmare Zone with overloads and the highest-damage Slayer or PvM you can sustain, the same content that trains Strength and Defence.
Can you train Attack as a free-to-play player?
Yes — fight monsters on the Accurate style. F2P is slower with no Nightmare Zone or Slayer, so the realistic free path is grinding aggressive monsters (cows, then stronger NPCs) until you can afford membership.
Should I train Attack, Strength or Defence first?
Most players raise Attack and Strength together for accuracy and max hit, leaving Defence lower for pures or training it last. The calculator above lets you set each goal separately so you can see the XP and time for whichever order you pick.
