What's the fastest way to train Prayer in OSRS?
Offering high-tier bones (dragon bones, then superior dragon bones) at a gilded altar with two incense burners lit is the fastest Prayer XP. It's expensive but quick — many players go from low level to 99 in a couple of hours if they can supply the bones.
How much does 99 Prayer cost?
It's one of the priciest skills because you buy bones by the thousand. Dragon bones at a gilded altar run into the tens of millions of gp to 99; the calculator above shows the live GE cost so you can compare bone types before you commit.
Do you need a gilded altar for Prayer?
No, but it's by far the best method — a gilded altar with both burners lit gives 350% XP per bone. Without one you're burying bones for a third of the XP, which is much slower and only worth it very early or in F2P.
