The Sapphire ring is a plain jewellery item that you craft from a gold bar and a sapphire at 20 Crafting. It has no combat bonuses. Its use is as a Crafting product and as the base for a ring of recoil, which members make with the Lvl-1 Enchant spell.
Equipment bonuses
Every bonus on the plain ring is zero, as the table shows. Nothing about it helps you fight. The useful item is the enchanted form, the ring of recoil, which has its own effect.
No level requirement to wear · ring slot · free-to-play. Every bonus shown above is zero.

How to get a Sapphire ring
You can make one yourself or pick one up from a few sources.
What a Sapphire ring is used for
As a worn item it is empty, so it is a skilling and enchanting item. Crafting it is an early Crafting step because it needs only 20 Crafting.
The main upgrade is the enchant. Members cast Lvl-1 Enchant on the ring to get a ring of recoil, which reflects some of the damage you take back at the attacker. A ring of recoil can also be used to charge a Ring of suffering.
Sapphire ring or a real ring
If you want bonuses in the ring slot, the plain Sapphire ring is the wrong pick. It has none. Use it as raw material, or step up to a ring that actually adds stats.
