How to get a Diamond necklace
You can craft one yourself or buy one from the Grand Exchange.
Enchanting into a Phoenix necklace
The main reason to hold a diamond necklace is the enchant. Lvl-4 Enchant turns it into a Phoenix necklace. The spell needs 57 Magic, one cosmic rune and ten earth runes.
The Phoenix necklace restores 30% of your maximum Hitpoints when you drop to 20% or below, and it is used up once it triggers. It also clears any attacks still waiting to land on you.
You can wear the plain diamond necklace in the neck slot, but it adds no bonuses. For stats in that slot compare real neck items in best in slot gear.
Is the Diamond necklace worth it?
As a worn item, no. It has no bonuses, so it is only worth owning as a Crafting product, an enchant base, or something to sell.
If you want an emergency heal, the enchant is the useful step. Compare the Grand Exchange price with the cost of the diamond, gold bar and runes before you decide to craft or buy.
