Mining gloves

“These will help me mine Iron, Silver, Coal and Gold.”

Mining gloves are the first of three Mining Guild gloves. They save you one rock depletion on copper, tin, iron, silver, lead, coal and gold, so you keep mining the same rock for longer. You buy them for 40 unidentified minerals in the Mining Guild, which needs 60 Mining to enter. They have no combat bonuses.

Equipment bonuses

Every bonus on the gloves is 0. The table above confirms it. You wear them for the mining effect, not for fighting.

How to get Mining gloves

You can only get them from one shop, and you need to be able to enter the Mining Guild first.

Ways to obtain it
Belona's shop — the Mining Guild Mineral Exchange sells the gloves for 40 unidentified minerals. You need 60 Mining to enter the guild.
Unidentified minerals — you get these as a rare find when mining rocks in the members' area of the Mining Guild, then spend them at the shop.

The gloves are untradeable and cannot be bought from another player.

Which rocks the gloves help with

The basic pair saves one extra ore on copper, tin, iron, silver, lead, coal and gold.

It does not help with mithril, adamantite or runite, or with sandstone, sunstone and amethyst. Superior gloves save two ores on the lower rocks and one on mithril and adamantite, and expert gloves save three on the lower rocks, with extra saves on every other rock type.

The effect stacks with other mining enhancers.

The celestial ring is another mining enhancer, bought with stardust from Shooting Stars, and its extra-ore chance triggers independently of other enhancers.

Are Mining gloves worth it?

For a Mining account at 60 or higher, yes. They cost 40 unidentified minerals and speed up iron, coal, gold and the other common rocks. Mining gloves and Superior mining gloves combine into Expert mining gloves, so the pair also counts toward the best set.

They have no combat use, so wear them only while you mine. For fighting setups, see best in slot gear.
