How to get a Zenyte shard
The shard is a rare drop, and it comes from the tougher gorillas under Ape Atoll.
Ways to obtain it
Demonic gorillas — the shard drops at 1/300 from these.
Tortured gorillas — drops at 1/3,000.
Grand Exchange — the shard is tradeable and the buy limit is 11,000 every 4 hours.
Both gorillas live in the Crash Site Cavern, which you can enter once Monkey Madness II is done.
What a Zenyte shard makes
The shard has one use. Fuse it with a cut onyx at the wall of flames in the Temple of Marimbo Dungeon, while holding a zombie monkey greegree. You get an uncut zenyte and 15 Crafting XP.
If you want zenyte jewellery, you cannot skip it, because the jewellery is built from a zenyte gem and the shard is half of that gem. If you do not, the shard has no use on its own.

Where do you get Zenyte shards?

How do you fuse a Zenyte shard with an onyx?
You need a cut onyx and a zombie monkey greegree (either size) on you. Go to the wall of flames in the Temple of Marimbo Dungeon and use the shard on the flames. This gives 15 Crafting XP. The uncut zenyte needs 70 Crafting, and cutting it later needs 89 Crafting.
Can you fuse the shard anywhere?
No. If you use the shard on a cut onyx away from the flames, the game tells you that only the heat of the flame pits beneath Ape Atoll can fuse them.

Yes. They are tradeable on the Grand Exchange with a buy limit of 11,000 every 4 hours.
